How to Unlock or Reset Android Pattern Lock After too Many Pattern attempts

Android is one of the most popular Operating system for cell phones. It was initially developed by Android Inc. and later owned by Google and is mainly based on Linux operating system. It is simple, faster and convenient to use. It was primarily developed for touch screen mobile phones like Tablets, smartphones, etc. Due to advance in technology, Security became a great concern for everybody. 
Now, let me discuss something about Pattern lock in Android devices so that you can understand this tutorial very easily.

What is Pattern lock or Screen lock in Android devices?

A pattern lock or screen lock using password is a user interface and is a way of accessing android devices by performing some action like entering password or gesture using touchscreen. In other word, you can say that It is a gesture based user interface to lock Android devices.

Why we use Pattern lock in Android devices? 

A pattern lock is more secure as compared to the number lock that we use. It is a way of adding an extra security to an android device so that no one access your device other than you. It is highly recommended for every users and are now available for Apple based devices, Android and latest version of windows like windows 8, etc. That is why, many people are using Pattern lock in their android based devices.

Suppose, we forget the pattern lock then what you will do to recover or reset the pattern in order to access your mobile phone? Here is the way that will help you to recover or reset your forgot screen pattern.

How to Unlock or Reset Android pattern lock?

Most of us are generally using the in-built screen lock feature to secure your device. There are two types of in-built features are available in the Android phones and these are:
(a).Lock screen using your Email Id, and
(b).Lock screen without using Email Id.

Unlock or Reset Your screen pattern using Email Id:


(a).First of all, Enter incorrect password more than 3 times and click on "forgot password".

(b).After than, a popup windows will appears and asking you to enter your email Id and password with which you had registered your device. 

(c).Now, fill all the fields like your Email Id and password whatever fields are available.

(d).Then, you will be prompted to reset the screen pattern lock by your Email address only if you filled all the fields correctly.

Unlock or Reset your screen pattern without using Email Address:

Before doing this method, please keep in your mind that all your data that are stored in your phone will be lost.
(a).First of all, switch off your android device and wait for some seconds to turn off completely.

(b).Now, press "Up Volume" key first and hold it.

(c).Then press "Power Button" and "home button" simultaneously and wait until your Android device starts. (Up volume key+Power button+Home button). In case, if home button is not available then press "Volume Up" and "Volume down" with "power button".

(d).Now, you will see a screen having logo.

(e).Then, Release the "Power button" only.

(f).Android system Recovery will be shown by your screen with number of lists. To select up and down option in the list, use "Volume Up" and "Down key" .

(g).Now, choose "Factory Reset Option" from the list.

(h).Then, Press "Power button" to start the action.

(i).Select the configuration "Yes" whenever confirmation display appears.

(j).After completion, again "Android system recovery" appears. Now, select "Reboot" option.

(k).Finally, Restart your android device. Now, you can access your device without any screen pattern.
